Work in Progress - An update from Durban
Confident, academically strong, and honest.
Hello from St James School Durban.
We are now in our 7th year of existence and have finally reached our milestone as a complete primary school with Grade 1 to 7 year students. None of this would have been possible without the unflinching support of our well-wishers from around the world and the faith placed in us by our teachers and parents. Thank you!
Further good news... two of our students have been awarded academic scholarships for their high school entry year (2014) from an elite private school and ALL our final year students have been placed (without any difficulty) into high schools of their choice.
A local School Head recently said ‘St James students show all round character development with a healthy mix of academia and culture. We are always on the lookout for such students.’
Another Head having interviewed a prospective student from St James commented that our students are ‘confident, academically strong and honest.’
With an increase in meditating students and a growing student body, our wish is for our work to continue. Resilience and the love of truth is our hallmark. Needless to add, we are tested over and over again.
